PCRM, joined by four Wisconsin doctors and the Wisconsin Humane Society, held a news conference November 13 in Milwaukee to denounce the use of live dogs as teaching tools at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Covance Discusses Incinerator With Officials; PCRM Releases Report About Dangers
Covance Laboratories, a contract animal-testing company seeking to build a large facility in Chandler, Ariz., has taken the first steps to obtain permission from the county for an incinerator to dispose of toxic animal carcasses. Dr. Neal Barnard Hosts Diabetes Lecture and Cooking Demonstration
Almost 200 people packed the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, Md., to see PCRM president Neal Barnard, M.D., discuss the power of vegan diets to reverse diabetes.
