PCRM’s Food for Life Program Launches New Website
PCRM’s Food for Life program has an all-new website that’s helping improve diets from Maine to Spain. You can easily search for classes on child nutrition, the 21-Day Vegan Kickstart, and preventing and treating type 2 diabetes and cancer. The site also features instructor bios, nutrition news, and all the information you need to apply to teach these classes.
Communities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Panama, Australia, Jamaica, Spain, South Korea, Norway, Indonesia, Ghana, and China are learning to unlock the power of plant-based nutrition for optimal health. The courses combine nutrition education with live cooking demonstrations to translate complex scientific research into do-it-yourself meals. Each year, the Food for Life program educates more than 10,000 people about the power of diet in preventing disease and protecting health.
PCRM received a record number of applications for the upcoming Food for Life instructor training in May. This competitive program, which prepares instructors to teach cooking and nutrition classes in their home cities, now has classes in 35 states, as well as 11 countries outside the United States.
