PCRM’s Research Without Cruelty Friend-Raiser
Alec Baldwin and 150 guests gathered in the Amagansett, N.Y., home of John Bradham on Aug. 25 for a fundraiser to support PCRM, including the newly launched Research Without Cruelty campaign.
Baldwin provided a glowing endorsement, emphasizing the effectiveness of PCRM’s science-based approach. PCRM president Neal Barnard, M.D., and PCRM director of government affairs Elizabeth Kucinich updated everyone on recent victories and PCRM’s plans to change the future of research. Guests were treated to the musical talent of Gooding, Paul Gene, and Chris Ayer. Delicious vegan food and drinks were provided by Vérité Catering, Natural Foods Cooking School, Frey Vineyards, and Treeline nondairy cheese.
