PCRM 20th Anniversary Gala Celebration Set for April 16
"The Art of Compassion: Celebrating 20 Years of Responsible Medicine" Benefit to Be Held in Washington, D.C.;
Actor Alec Baldwin to Serve as Master of Ceremonies
WASHINGTON—Actor Alec Baldwin and film directors Wolfgang Peterson (“The Perfect Storm,” “Troy”) and Morgan Spurlock (“Super Size Me”) will help the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) toast its 20th anniversary at a black-tie benefit on Saturday, April 16, at the Organization of American States headquarters, 17th Street and Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C.
Guests at “The Art of Compassion: Celebrating 20 Years of Responsible Medicine” will be treated to a star-studded reception, a gourmet vegan dinner prepared by some of the country’s most celebrated chefs, a silent auction, dancing, and music and entertainment.
Gala-goers can also sign up for a host of free same-day activities, including cooking and nutrition demonstrations and a hands-on seminar featuring the latest in alternative medical training and research technologies.
