Eat for the Earth helps people eat more plants and fewer animal products to sustain all life on Earth. We provide education, tools, and support for plant-based eating. We also advocate for systemic change, helping institutions improve health and reduce environmental harm through plant-forward practices.Eat for the Earth is a nonprofit promoting whole food, plant-based eating. Our vision is to make Santa Cruz County a model of sustainable, plant-forward eating and contribute to the global plant-based movement. We engage in various programs to inspire, educate, and support individuals and institutions.

About Our Events
We offer food prep classes online and in person, plus the Plant-Powered Life series with potlucks, presentations, and film screenings. We host 8-10 diet immersions annually, an annual healthcare conference, and large speaker events. We also advocate for systemic change and organize other plant-based initiatives.
