The Healthy Eating Support Community facilitates Healthy Eating Pods in Tompkins County, NY, where participants provide peer-to-peer support for the challenges of maintaining a healthy diet. Additionally, Cornell Cooperative Extension staff help foster an ongoing community of support.Our group is open to everyone, no matter where they are on their plant-based wellness journey. We welcome anyone curious about healthy food or looking for social connection. People of all ages, including children, are invited to join. Our events are free, and our team of co-leaders works together to organize gatherings.

About Our Events
Several groups are located in different neighborhoods in Ithaca, as well as in rural towns throughout Tompkins County. Each year, we offer two to three intensive Nutritional Change Jumpstart programs to support those looking to make lasting dietary changes. Our volunteer healthy eating mentors provide guidance and encouragement. We also host fun community events throughout the year, such as healthy potlucks and veggie BBQ socials.
