The Healthy Eating Support Community facilitates Healthy Eating Pods in Tompkins County, NY, in which participants provide peer to peer practical support for the challenges of sustained healthy eating, and in which Cornell Cooperative Extension Staff focus on creating an ongoing community of support.Our group is open to all, regardless of where you are on your plant-based wellness journey. We welcome anyone curious about learning more about healthy food or seeking social connection. People of all ages, including children, are invited to join. Our events are free, and we have several co-leaders who together organize our gatherings.

About Our Events
Program Components: Several pods located in different neighborhoods in Ithaca, as well as rural towns in Tompkins County. 2-3 intensive nutritional change intensive ?Jumpstart? Programs each year. Volunteer healthy eating mentors Several fun community events throughout the year, such as healthy pot-lucks, veggie BBQ socials, etc.
