Foods for a Healthy Heart

 

A plant-based diet, with regular exercise, and other lifestyle changes can prevent, delay and even reverse heart disease. It can help improve several risk factors for heart disease; help improve blood pressure, help lower cholesterol, and help minimize plaque buildup in the arteries. A plant-based diet can also help reduce inflammation, which can lead to heart disease and other conditions.
During our class on Foods for a Healthy Heart we will watch a short video, take a quiz, participate in a discussion, and watch a live cooking demonstration, followed by a food tasting.
