Dr. Bekker's practice is devoted completely to natural methods of promoting health in his patients. His background includes many years as an emergency department physician and private clinic physician. His specialty is homeopathy and a focus on lifestyle modification, which includes promotion of proper nutrition, exercise, and sleep, as well as a balanced mental and physical outlook. Dr. Bekker is a diplomate from the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine and a Fellow of the American Institute of Stress. He is also currently serving as the first vice president of the American Institute of Homeopathy, the oldest extant medical organization in the United States. He also serves as the editor in chief of the American Journal of Homeopathy.
