Dr. Evans graduated with a degree in family medicine in 1984 and focused on lifestyle and prevention since 2010. He trained and worked in remote Canada until 1993 when he moved to Texas, where he operated a large multi-specialty clinic until 2005. Between 2005 and 2010, he retrained in integrative, lifestyle, and nutrition as medicine.

He focuses on disease prevention and reversal with an emphasis on testing for risk factors and presence of disease. He offers executive physicals including carotid and aorta screenings, heart ultrasounds, lung function tests, and other cardiometabolic tests coupled with advanced labs to personalize treatment plans. This practice balances risks for disease (labs) with the presence of disease (tests) to take the guesswork out of treatment.
