I was born in Portland, Oregon but mostly raised in Torrington, Connecticut as the middle child of three. I enjoy camping, swimming, public health initiatives, hiking, singing, speaking Spanish, and serving in the Church and community. My wife and I have six children, one dog, two cats, a dozen chickens, a rabbit, a green Conure bird, a beehive and a herd of Kiko goats.

Our family has been whole food plant-based for over three years now and have cherished the associated benefits. Over 70% of my podiatry practice deals with the management of diabetic foot complications and other preventable chronic diseases. I spend time with my patients reviewing evidence-based nutrition and its practical application to help free them from pharmaceuticals and live their best lives.

Two years ago we founded a nonprofit corporation, Thundering Water, to bring outdoor recreation and nutrition education to a younger and broader audience. I am board certified in foot & ankle surgery through ABFAS.
