Deryl Lamb, MD
Dr. Lamb is an Arizona native. He graduated from Cornell University and later from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1991. After completing a family practice residency at Good Samaritan (now Banner University) in Phoenix, he started a solo practice in Queen Creek, Ariz., later expanding it to a family medical clinic supervising other physicians and midlevel providers.
After more than 20 years in the insurance-based, fee-for-service model, Dr. Lamb ventured out into the direct primary care movement in 2018. This move rejuvenated his professional career in part due to the time available to devote to his patients and share the best science-based health care prevention model to reverse diseases and improve and optimize health. About 15 years ago, Dr. Lamb adopted a more whole food, plant-based diet and planted his own large vegetable garden. Based on his personal experience and the help he has provided, he is a strong advocate for a whole food, plant-based lifestyle.
