Dr. Eisman is board-certified in family medicine and has taught medical students. She shares her practice with her husband and partner, also a vegetarian, who is an internist/cardiologist. Their practice is welcoming and supportive of a vegan diet.

Dr. Eisman served as chairman of family medicine; and her partner, as chairman of internal medicine. Both are health conscious and regularly discuss ways to incorporate physical activity into daily life and eat a more healthful diet. In fact, her partner has authored a book and several articles on this topic.
