Dr. Scott began her education at Duquesne University for an undergraduate degree and then traveled south to the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical training. She completed a family medicine residency with the Washington Hospital in Washington, Pa., and went on to receive additional training in sports medicine with the UPMC St. Margaret Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship. As a dually boarded physician in family medicine and primary care sports medicine with a focus on lifestyle medicine and regenerative medicine, Dr. Scott treats not just patients’ musculoskeletal ailment but the patient as a whole. She believes in the integration of food as medicine into musculoskeletal health for optimal performance, prevention, and healing of injuries.
