Gregory Saunders, MD
Dr. Saunders is a board-certified general surgeon with the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons, and has earned a master's in public health. He counsels his patients on the benefits of a whole food, plant-based diet. He and his wife run community health education programs, including the Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP), to give it practical, hands-on, meal-centered impact. Dr. Saunders was raised lacto-ovo vegetarian but started following a mostly whole food, plant-based diet since 1994, which he has strictly adhered to since 2005. He spent half of his 30-year professional career in the United States and half in Africa. He enjoys the benefits of a plant-based diet and is happy to share that with as many patients and community members as are interested.
