Dr. Shah is American board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism (ABMS), clinical densitometry (ISCD), obesity medicine (ABOM), and internal medicine (ABIM). He completed the certificate program in plant-based nutrition through eCornell. Dr. Shah has been awarded the fellowship of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE), fellowship of the American College of Physicians (FACP), 2017 "America's Top Physicians" by the Consumers Research Council of America, and 2018 "Top Endocrinologist in California" by Top Doctor Awards. He manages diabetes, obesity, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, lipids, bone, calcium, and reproductive disorders. His clinical areas of interests are thyroid cancer, endocrine hypertension, plant-based nutrition, and diabetes technologies (insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors).
