Jacinda was born in Ohio and grew up in California and has been a registered nurse since 1996. She attended nursing school at Seattle University in Washington. Jacinda is a certified diabetes educator focused on a lifestyle approach for prevention, management, and reversal with an emphasis on low-fat, whole food, plant-based nutrition empowering those with type 1, LADA, type 2, and prediabetes. She currently works with a plant-based endocrinologist in Wesley Chapel, Fla., and in her lifestyle coaching practice, EmpowerMe Diabetes Health.
