Dr. Janet Krettek has practiced as a broad-spectrum osteopathic general surgeon for 25 years. After studying biology and psychology, she attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. After her residency in general surgery, she practiced in small-town Alabama for 15 years and now is in suburban Philadelphia. Double-boarded in integrative and holistic medicine, she looks for the health in each person. Preferring conservative and preventive care, she uses a step-wise approach to care. Osteopathic manual medicine, nutrition, exercise modalities, sleep hygiene, breath, and relaxation techniques are some of the tools she finds helpful. Dr. Krettek is a happily married mother of three amazing children. Her family enjoys a locally grown, sustainable, plant-based diet. She enjoys gardening, cooking, cleaning, organizing, reading, and caring for others, including her sweet pup.
