Kathy Taylor, RD
Kathy Taylor is the Director of Medical Nutrition Therapy at Grady Memorial Hospital. She received her BS in Biology from Auburn University. She later completed her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and MS in Exercise Science from Georgia State University. She has been certified as a Registered Dietitian with Licensure in the state of Georgia for 29 years. She was a Healthy Cooking and Adult Weight Management Class Instructor for 6 years with Kaiser Permanente. She has been whole-food, plant-based since 2001 and considers this one of her greatest accomplishments to improve not only her own health but also food insecurity, global warming and compassion for animals. She is currently helping lead the fully plant-based Food as Medicine program at Grady Hospital to address food insecurity for those patients with uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension.
