Dr. Anton-Schnell has always had a passion for health and wellness. In 1996, she started working in nutrition with Tufts University as an undergraduate research coordinator in obesity and HIV. In 1998, she earned her Master of Public Health from Tufts University in epidemiology and biostatistics while minoring in nutrition and health. For two years, she attended the Medical School for International Health at Ben-Gurion University in Israel (affiliated with Columbia University of Physicians and Surgeons) and transferred to the American University of Integrative Health (formerly University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine). There, she completed her residency at the Columbia University-affiliated Stamford Hospital in Connecticut.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2006 and practices internal medicine. In 2022, she attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and opened Ingredients for Life LLC, in Boulder, Colo.
