Laura Valero is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who is actively pursuing certification in lifestyle medicine. She helps her patients become empowered to take charge of their own health through lifestyle interventions including diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, avoiding risky behaviors, and connectivity.

Laura received her nursing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and her master's of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner concentration, from University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences. She also has a certificate in plant-based nutrition from Cornell University. She is actively involved in her community, giving presentations on food as medicine and the role that animal production plays in climate change and the environment.
