Dr. Maisel is a family practitioner with many years of experience, mostly in the U.K. National Health Service. She studied medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine and completed family practice residency at the Brown University Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. Over the years, she invested a great deal of time to study the influence of nutrition on our health, and over the last decade has strongly recommended a whole food, plant-based lifestyle to patients. She was certified by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine in 2018, authored a chapter in a medical textbook, and has lectured to groups of doctors as part of the University of Winchester plant-based nutrition course. She currently practices privately in Tel Aviv and also offers remote consultations for patients anywhere in the world who cannot come to the clinic.
