Dr. Jain is a board-certified endocrinologist and founder of the Diabetes & Thyroid Care Center of Excellence in Greater Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He has been in practice at the same location for the last 21 years and is very passionate about empowering his diabetic patients with education for lifestyle changes. He strongly believes in the role a plant-based diet can play in weight loss and diabetes control, along with the improvement of the environment. He works with a full-time dietitian with similar beliefs. Together, they have developed an American Diabetes Association-recognized diabetes self-management education program. He and his dietitian are both certified diabetes educators.
