Dr. Mylène Tran Huynh is a board-certified family practice, preventive medicine, and functional medicine physician. She founded TruPoint Health with a teaching kitchen to empower patient well-being through plant-based eating. TruPoint Health is a proud PCRM Food for Life Educational Alliance Program partner. Dr. Huynh retired at the rank of colonel after completing a 21-year U.S. Air Force career as a flight surgeon, family physician faculty, director of clinical operations, and consultant to the USAF surgeon general on preventive medicine and global health. She is an adjunct assistant professor in the department of preventive medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She obtained both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia.
