Dr. Nancy Eriksen has been whole food, plant-based for almost a decade and is passionate about the role of nutrition and lifestyle medicine in women's health. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, and lifestyle medicine and is associate professor in maternal-fetal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her practice is limited to preconceptual counseling, consultative management of high-risk pregnancies, and the application of lifestyle medicine during pregnancy or to improve preconceptual health. She is also a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Women’s Interest Group and co-chair of the pregnancy subcommittee. Dr. Eriksen lectures on a variety of topics related to lifestyle medicine and women’s health.
