Nancy Rodriguez, RN, BSN, CDCES, is bilingual (Spanish/English) and has been a licensed and registered nurse for over 30 years and a certified diabetes care and education specialist for over 25 years, with a specialty from the National Certification Board of Diabetes Educators. She earned a certificate in plant-based nutrition from eCornell and served as a certified Food for Life instructor. She provides comprehensive diabetes education on using plant-based whole foods and a low-fat lifestyle to prevent, control, or reverse diabetes, overweight, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and heart disease. She received the Hispanic Heritage Award and was nominated for the Nursing Excellence Award for her community service. Her mission is to offer excellent, compassionate lifestyle education.
