Lifestyle medicine has been at the root of Dr. Stark's practice for over 40 years. Starting in Colorado in 1980, he has lectured in nutrition and physiology to peers since graduation. With some humility, he had to overcome "terminal cancer" in 1989. He moved to New Zealand with his affairs in order and waited for the inevitable--and is still waiting!

Dr. Stark spent 16 years restudying all he thought he knew and returned to active practice with a new behavior-changing lifestyle coaching model, circa 2005.

Now he is honored to be a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and a board-certified lifestyle medicine health practitioner. He writes, lectures, and mentors peers and still sees a limited number of patients, both via telehealth and in the community.
