Sheila Davis, PhD, FAAN, FNP, LSCM-BC, is a Fellow of American Academy of Nursing, a board-certified lifestyle medicine professional with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and a nationally certified nurse practitioner. She is the founding editor of the online Journal of Health Ethics. She is an immediate past tenured full professor with the University of Southern Mississippi and University of Mississippi Medical Center, chair of Oakwood University School of Nursing, and deputy director of Mississippi Institute for Improvement of Geographic and Racial Disparities.

At A Natural Way Family Health Clinic, all patients are challenged to adopt a plant-based diet. The clinic recently piloted its Restoring Health Online Weight Loss program based upon a plant-based diet and other lifestyle changes. This program consists of eight interactive online modules. Additionally, the clinic offers seminars on the efficacy of a plant-based diet and hosts a quarterly vegan supper club.
