Susan Friedman, MD
Dr. Friedman is a board-certified geriatrician and internist. She received her medical degree and master's degree in public health from Northwestern University and completed her residency and geriatric fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University. She is a professor of medicine at the University of Rochester, where her clinical time is divided between work as a geriatrics hospitalist at Highland Hospital and both inpatient and outpatient consultative care in lifestyle medicine. She serves as the medical director of Rochester Lifestyle Medicine Group and is happy to see patients in person or via telemedicine.
Dr. Friedman was board-certified in lifestyle medicine in 2017 and completed the Complete Health Improvement Program facilitator training program in 2016 and the eCornell plant-based nutrition certificate program in 2017.
Her passion is healthy aging-developing clinical, educational, and systems approaches to ensuring that we can all age well, with health and dignity.
