Food for Life: Cancer Project

The Power of Food for Cancer Prevention & Survival

The class will meet each Thursday, Oct 20 - Nov 10, 2022 from 6pm - 8pm at the Hux Cancer Center, Beech St Conference Room on the lower level of the building. 

The cost of the class is $20 for all four classes, this price includes the class series listed below, a free copy of the Cancer Survivor's Guide book, food demonstrations, and food sample tasting (at each class).

The class discussions will be:

Oct 20 - Introduction to how foods fight cancer

Oct 27 - Fueling up on low-fat, high-fiber foods

Nov3 - Discovering Dairy & Meat alternatives

Nov 10 Cancer-Fighting Compounds & Healthy Weight Control
