This 6 week series of classes is designed to empower people who have diabetes, or concerns about developing diabetes, along with their friends and family members with practical cooking skills and tips that make meals healthy and delicious.  Population studies and clinical research show that a low-fat, plant-based diet can be very effective in improving blood glucose, promoting weight loss, lowering cholesterol and reducing the risk of other chronic diseases. Discover which foods are optimal for glucose control and weight management and learn practical cooking skills that will help you on your journey to better health.  In our classes, attendees do all of this while enjoying a cooking demonstration and a full delicious, healthful meal in a supportive group setting.
