This class will introduce participants to a low-fat plant-based lifestyle for weight loss and the prevention of some of the most common chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and some cancers. Based on the Physicians Committee’s 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart book, participants will learn the basics of how to plan and follow a plant-based diet and begin a 21-day challenge for success.
