In this class, which draws from the popular book Your Body in Balance: The New Science of Food, Hormones, and Health by Dr. Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, we explore how certain cancers are significantly affected by hormones: breast, uterine, and ovarian cancer in women and prostate and testicular cancer in men.
We will explore how you can help regulate your hormones with the foods you eat. We'll dive into the power of a low-fat, high-fiber, whole foods, plant-based diet to help reduce the risk for cancer and help enhance survival for those who have been diagnosed.
