Foods and Mood draws from the popular book Your Body in Balance: The New Science of Food, Hormones, and Health by Neal Barnard, MD, FACC. We will be focusing on one of the hormone-related conditions that impact women and men of all ages and life stages. Class content in this class examines how specific dietary changes work to bring hormone levels for mood into balance. Participants will learn strategies they can apply in their daily lives to prevent, manage, or even reverse this hormone-related condition. This class features a cooking demonstration, along with handouts of easy and affordable recipes participants can prepare at home.

Jane is a Plant-Based Nutrition Professional through the T. Colin Campbell, Center for Nutrition Studies, a Licensed Food for Life Instructor through PCRM, and a recent graduate of the Rouxbe Culinary School in Professional-Plant Based Cooking. Jane is on a mission to help individuals learn to incorporate practices that generate health and well-being through cooking, composting, and compassion.
