Bubbie Staron
Food for Life Instructor
Two days after her 47th birthday, Bubbie's doctor put her on cholesterol and blood pressure lowering medications. It was an unfortunate diagnosis at a relatively young age, but she used that as motivation to jump head first into plant based eating. By switching to a delicious rainbow of nutritious foods including fruits, vegetables, beans and whole grains, she was able to get off her medications in a matter of months, and in doing so found a passion for helping others on the plant-based path.
Bubbie spends her days working in the Human Services field, as well as facilitating classes at Rochester Lifestyle Medicine. She is a proud co-founder of Rochester VegFest and Vice President of Animal Right Rochester (ARRoc). And of course, Bubbie is so excited to bring Food For Life classes to her community.
Serving cities and surrounding areas of Rochester and the surrounding suburbs such as Greece, Henrietta, Hilton, Gates, Irondequoit, Fairport, and Pittsford.
