Claudia Guillen

Claudia C Guillen is a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience in various settings, including working in community health centers, rural health, and classroom instruction. Her specialization is in Lifestyle Medicine. She views healthy lifestyle changes through patient education and empowerment as the cornerstone of health. In addition to her work in primary care, she leads Lifestyle Medicine group medical visits (also called shared medical appointments) for symptom management and disease prevention. She is bicultural and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She holds a BSN from the University of Massachusetts Boston, an MSN from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a Doctorate in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. Her specialization is in Lifestyle Medicine. Since 2011, she has worked as a Health Educator, Healthy Living Coach, Outreach Worker, Registered Nurse, and Nurse Practitioner, teaching families in various communities about disease management. In her role, she integrates modern medicine and contemplative wisdom traditions by focusing on whole-person well-being – body, mind, and soul. By combining lifestyle and family medicine practices, she has guided patients individually and in groups to prevent and treat various chronic medical conditions. She has coached children and parents to change their lifestyles by addressing family and social barriers by integrating culturally appropriate teaching lessons and cooking demonstrations to help families with limited resources make healthy meals at home. 


Serving cities and surrounding areas of Massachusetts cities of Boston, Chelsea, Malden, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Revere, Saugus, Stoneham, Wakefield, Winchester, Winthrop, Woburn, Lynn, Billerica, and Lowell.
