Deborah Milkowski

Deborah Milkowski is a physician and has been serving the New Bern, NC area for over 10 years. Deborah spent most of her career treating people for chronic illnesses that are largely preventable through lifestyle modification. Seeing too many people struggling with health issues like obesity, hypertension, heart disease and diabetes while watching their health decline, she decided to begin a program that teaches the benefits of a healthy, plant-based lifestyle to her community. Deborah is certified in plant-based nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at eCornell and she serves as the lead physician for the Walk with a Doc New Bern, NC chapter which was launched in 2022.
