Food for Life Instructor
Leticia has been a practicing clinician for almost 35 years. The first 13 years, she practiced as a registered nurse, later returning to get her Masters in adult primary care and occupational medicine and working as a Nurse Practitioner for many years since in the occupational medicine field. In more recent years, after some emerging health issues, Leticia began to make Lifestyle Medicine a major focus of her study and clinical practice, recognizing the role lifestyle takes in contributing to either wellness or illness. She is a Wellcoaches Certified Health and Well-being Coach, holds a Certificate in Plant-based Nutrition through the eCornell Certificate Program from Cornell University, is a Food for Life Instructor through the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, and has completed Harvard Medical School's Culinary Health Education Fundamentals (CHEF) Coaching course. Leticia also practices lifestyle medicine coaching at Healthy at Last!, her private practice. Her passion is to assist individuals in finally getting healthy in order to live a long, full life.
