Lisa  Hinze

Lisa Hinze is a serial foodie who describes herself as a ‘Professional Homecook’.

She was co-Director of a catering company for ten years where she had a big influence on menu development incorporating plant-based dishes. She started on her plant-based journey over eight years ago and having discovered a whole new world of cuisine was hooked! She developed online plant based culinary courses over the Covid 19 pandemic teaching people how to cook traditional dishes with a plant-based twist and is now back to teaching live in-person classes.  Her passion project of ‘Cooking in the Community’ for the underserved has been warmly received leading to teaching cookery lessons on behalf of a government-funded Cancer Alliance initiative, how to eat a balanced diet to boost your health and Food Poverty - Food for All programmes. She is passionate about the health benefits of a plant-based diet and loves to show students simple, quick and easy dishes to boost their wellbeing.  Lisa is delighted to have the opportunity to share her knowledge with others and support their plant-based journeys as a Food for Life instructor.
