Maria Ariza Lima
Food for Life Instructor
Maria started cooking and helping her mother early, which sparked her interest in cooking. She began to eat healthier in 2008 for health reasons. In 2019 Maria became a Health Promoter and started volunteering at Communities with information and resources and saw the need for Food Education, especially in low-income communities. Maria is currently working as a Program Manager at a non-profit organization helping the community. Her goal is to help mothers in low-income communities by teaching lessons, doing cooking demonstrations, and helping them adopt a healthy diet to prevent chronic illness.
