Marsha Peters
Food for Life Instructor
Marsha has been enthusiastically plant-based since 2011. Like so many, she has a family history of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, losing her father to a heart attack at age 60. Changing to a whole food, plant-based diet allowed her to lose weight and say goodbye to cholesterol medication.
Marsha is passionate about the power of plant-based eating and other lifestyle choices to transform and optimize health. She has a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Foundation and e-Cornell.
Marsha is married with two grown children and retired from a career as a tax professional. She enjoys exercise and yoga classes, biking, kayaking, and volunteering in her community with the Tax-Aide program. She is enthusiastic about bringing the message and “how-to” of plant-based eating to her community through Food for Life.
