Food for Life Instructor
I wanted to become plant-based for many years. On a significant birthday I did a 21 day Daniel Fast, a vegan eating plan, and within two weeks I was completely healed of a lifelong health issue. I also had more energy than I could imagine and felt alive and vibrant again. I adopted a plant-based lifestyle and began my journey of plant-based living. I became a children's cooking instructor and began teaching children about nutrition and healthy cooking; however, I soon realized that I needed to teach families, not just the children. I shifted my focus to nutrition and the healing power of plants. I became a health coach, and diabetes educator, and licensed Food for Life Instructor. After moving back to my hometown, I began to notice the significant number of people who are suffering with diabetes and pre-diabetes in my community. I also realized that many people wanted to do better, but did not know how. I am so grateful that as a Licensed Food for Life instructor I have been provided with a wealth of knowledge and resources to share with my community about the power of your plate and the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. Food for Life has provided me with everything I need to walk a road with them that leads to health and vitality.
