After Hurricane Irma hit SWFL & impacted the water quality in her area, Shelley started looking into environmental documentaries, that could help her offset negative impacts. This led her to watching Cowspiracy, What the Health, Forks over Knives & many others. 

 

Learning this new information, after being raised on the Standard American Diet (SAD), she was amazed by the power of plants, not only for the environment but for our health & went vegan instantly. Although wavering between “healthy” & vegan “junk food”, she was still able to reverse her high cholesterol without medication, in only 6 weeks!

 

Since 2019, she has been enthralled with learning & sharing information on plant-based nutrition. In addition to the Food for Life Program, she has completed T. Colin Campbell’s, Plant-Based Nutrition course thru Cornell & Dr. Klaper’s, Master Class in Plant-based Clinical Nutrition. 

 

She has worked in corporate Human Resources, focusing on benefits & wellness programs, for over a decade. Absolutely passionate about sharing this wonderful, easy, life changing information with her co-workers, their families, and her community.
