Wendy has always had a passion for healthy foods especially fresh fruits and vegetables. After watching family members become ill with heart disease, Wendy, her husband, and daughter all adopted a plant-based lifestyle. As a life-long learner and teacher, it was a natural transition for Wendy to become a Food for Life instructor. Wendy holds a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from the T. Collin Campbell Foundation through eCornell and a certificate in The Science of The Nutritarian Diet from the Nutritarian Education Institute. During the day she teaches third grade. Wendy hopes to make a difference in the lives of children and adults through a plant-based lifestyle.
