Dr. Kristi Funk, a board-certified breast cancer surgeon and best-selling author, shares 18 of the most effective estrogen-lowering foods when she joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll on The Exam Room™ podcast.

To the delight of chocolate lovers, the list even includes cacao!

NBA Mom

Also on this double episode, Chuck speaks with Lorraine Fox who is a breast cancer survivor and mother of NBA star De'Aaron Fox. While raising a future first-round pick is a remarkable achievement, it is her battle with breast cancer that makes Lorraine a superstar in her own right.

She shares the emotional story of her will to survive after being diagnosed with the disease not long after it took her sister's life. Plus, she opens up about the touching tribute De'Aaron paid to on the night he entered the NBA.

The inspiring mother and son have teamed up to launch the Fox Whole Family Foundation which benefits those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. Through the foundation, Lorraine and De’Aaron advocate for increased awareness, testing, and treatment for women fighting this disease.

This is the third of four special episodes dedicated to breast cancer.

Dr. Funk is helping to lead the Let's Beat Breast Cancer campaign with the Physicians Committee. She encourages women to take the four-week LBBC challenge to improve their health and reduce their risk for breast cancer.
