Pathogens in Meat and Milk May Be Linked to Cancer
Pathogens in cow’s meat and milk may cause cancer in humans, according to findings from the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ). Pathogens dubbed “Bovine Milk and Meat Factors” found in healthy cows may cause a chronic inflammatory reaction in tissues, such as breast and colon, that can promote cancer. These cancers may take decades to manifest after the person consumes the milk or meat from a cow.
