Plant-Based Diets Improve Quality of Life for Breast Cancer Patients
A plant-based diet improves cognitive function and emotional well-being and reduces fatigue in women with cancer. A study of 30 women receiving treatment for breast cancer were asked to either follow a whole food, plant-based diet or received usual care for eight weeks. The plant-based diet significantly improved their perceived cognitive function and emotional well-being and reduced fatigue.
