Ultra-Processed Foods Increase Multiple Health Risks

Eating ultra-processed food (which include carbonated soft drinks, mass-produced sweet baked goods, and processed meats like chicken nuggets, fish sticks, sausages, and hot dogs) increases the risk health problems including common mental disorders, type 2 diabetes, and dying from cardiovascular disease. These findings came from a large analysis of 45 studies that included nearly 10 million people.
