Charles Smith

Charles has been in the insurance business for over forty years. He has served as the Children's pastor with his wife Gail at New Horizon Church International for more than 30 years. He is the author of 7 Steps to Raising Amazing Children, the host of The Amazing Happy Village show, and the owner of My Health My Mississippi LLC. Charles's love for cooking came from watching his mother cook. When she passed away at the young age of 58 because of underlying conditions of poor health and obesity, his journey of eating better began. After a no-meat fast for a month at the church, Charles experienced a new level of energy and never returned to eating meat, which was 20 years ago. He is excited to be a Food For Life Instructor to help others see the need, feel the energy, and be healthy with a plant-based lifestyle.
