Rebecca Johnson is a certified plant-based health supportive chef, food and nutrition educator, and dedicated advocate for food literacy. Her primary focus is on promoting health and wellness through the power of a plant-based lifestyle. As a licensed Food for Life instructor, Rebecca brings her 12 years of experience teaching culinary and nutrition education classes in New York City communities and schools.
Rebecca's journey as a former national model, led to a transformative shift when she discovered the remarkable potential of plant-based living as a natural solution to address her persistent health issues. Motivated by this newfound knowledge, Rebecca pursued Plant-Based Nutrition certification at Hallelujah Acres, becoming a health minister and a plant based certificate through the T.Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
Under the evocative banner of The Plant Rich Life, Chef Rebecca has established a wellness brand that embodies the principles of healthy plant-based living. Through her cooking and nutrition education classes, her mission is to nurture and nourish younger generations, and foster a healthy mind and body in people of all ages. She educates others on the distinction of a healthy, whole foods plant-based diet through empowering knowledge of evidence-based information that one can use to make healthy food choices.
Rebecca incorporates a deep appreciation for the rich food heritage of the American South stemming from her parents, who hailed from that region and her father who was a professional cook.
Rebecca is a native of Philadelphia, PA, living in the vibrant historical neighborhood of Harlem, New York.
