Ludmilla Wikkeling-Scott, Dr.P.H., MPH

Dr. Ludmilla is a Food For Life Instructor, Public Health Educator and Researcher. Her health journey began with a sudden onset of seizures at age 24, finally controlled after a 10-year battle with medications which caused depression, and anxiety. But after losing her Dad due to unnecessary cholesterol medications, her public health expertise led her to dive into the evidence base of food prescriptions and the impact on communities of color, even convincing her doctoral students to join in on her research. A quick look at her own community and requests to expand her herbal tea shop and wellness services, her passion for cooking delicious and diverse foods, and  love for growing her own food, led her to start The Plant-based Lifestyle Club a community-based organization that empowers, enlightens and educates her community of 11,000 residents on whole food plant-based lifestyle. Dr. Ludmilla is the Founder of Hibiscus & Whole Food, where she offers Food For Life classes.
